Ryosuke Yazaki, born in 1965, is a Japanese sculptor. Yazaki began his education in Japan where he studied fine arts at the Nihon University, before pursuing further education in England. At an early age, Yazaki was already considered as a master carver like his grandfather, the reknown sculptor Torao Yazaki. His work is currently recognized within both the art and design worlds, in both Japan and the west. He uses essentially clay, terracotta and wood and is specifically amazed by Japanese material like Hinoki and Camphor woods. His art usually starts with abstract computer generated drawings and end up with handmade organic forms.
